Connect GMX and mail.com

GMX and mail.com over IMAP and SMTP. Turn on POP3 and IMAP access in your mailbox settings first. Works

GMX (gmx.com)

Signs in withMailbox password
Incoming (IMAP)imap.gmx.com, port 993 (SSL/TLS)
Outgoing (SMTP)mail.gmx.com, port 587 (STARTTLS) or 465 (SSL/TLS)

In GMX, go to Settings, then POP3 & IMAP, and tick "Enable access to this account via POP3 and IMAP". GMX turns this off again if it goes unused for a long time.

Connect in Mailpitcher

  1. Add the mailbox

Choose GMX, then enter your address and password. The settings above are filled in for you.

  2. Test the connection

Mailpitcher checks that it can read and send before it saves the mailbox. Each mailbox sends 100 emails a day by default, and 50 a day for its first 3 days.
