Connectors / iCloud Mail

Connect iCloud Mail

Apple's iCloud Mail over IMAP and SMTP with an app-specific password. Works

Signs in withApp password
UsernameYour full iCloud email address
Incoming (IMAP)imap.mail.me.com, port 993 (SSL/TLS)
Outgoing (SMTP)smtp.mail.me.com, port 587 (STARTTLS)

Use an app-specific password, not your Apple Account password. Apple asks for only the part before the @ as the incoming (IMAP) username and the full address for sending (SMTP); if the full address fails for incoming mail, try the part before the @.

Checked against the provider's documentation on 10 October 2026.

Connect in Mailpitcher

  1. Add the mailbox

Choose iCloud, then enter your address and password. The settings above are filled in for you.

  2. Test the connection

Mailpitcher checks that it can read and send before it saves the mailbox. Each mailbox sends 100 emails a day by default, and 50 a day for its first 3 days.

Sending limits

  • 1,000 messages per day, 1,000 recipients per day, and up to 500 recipients per message. Source.
