Your data is yours. You can take a copy at any time, and you can erase your account yourself.

Download your data

Step 1: Open Plan & account

Click your email address at the bottom left, then Settings, plan and usage, then Plan & account. Scroll to Download your data.

Step 2: Click Download ZIP

With two-step sign-in on, Mailpitcher asks for a current code first. Type the code from your authenticator app (or a backup code) and click Confirm and download.

Settings, Plan & account, Download your data.
  1. 1: Download ZIP
  2. 2: With two-step sign-in on: a current code

Step 3: Keep the file safe

You get one ZIP file, in JSON and CSV. It has your account, mailbox settings, contacts, lists, do-not-contact list, templates, campaigns with every send, projects and prospects, files and images, and your security log.

Two things are not in it:

  • Your mail. It stays at your email provider (Gmail, Outlook and so on).
  • Passwords. Mailbox passwords are never exported.

The file holds your contacts and campaign history, so keep it somewhere private.

Step 4: Download a copy first

Erasing can’t be undone after the waiting time. Do steps 1 to 3 first if you want to keep anything.

Step 5: Open Delete account

On Plan & account, under Delete account, click Delete account…. Read what happens:

  • The account switches off now. You’re signed out everywhere and nothing sends from it.
  • 24 hours later, we delete your mailbox connections, synced mail, contacts, campaigns, templates and projects.
  • Your mail stays in your mailboxes at your provider.

Step 6: Confirm

Type your account’s email address in the box, then click Erase my account. With two-step sign-in on, enter a code too.

Delete account. The account switches off at once and is erased 24 hours later.
  1. 1: Type your email address
  2. 2: Erase my account

Step 7: Changed your mind?

We email you straight away. The link in that email keeps your account, if you use it within the 24 hours.

Good to know

  • To stop paying without deleting anything, cancel instead. See Your plan, invoices, cancelling.
  • To remove one mailbox only, open its settings (the cog in the sidebar) and click Disconnect mailbox…. Its saved password and synced copies are deleted; your mail stays at your provider.
