Looks up public DNS records via Google Public DNS from your browser. DKIM can only be checked on common selector names, so "not found" there isn't final.
How to use it
- Enter your domain, like yourcompany.com.
- Read each result: MX, SPF, DMARC and DKIM.
- Fix anything missing in your DNS settings, then check again.
Why it matters
Google asks every sender to set up SPF or DKIM, and senders of 5,000+ emails a day to Gmail also need DMARC. Without them, mail is more likely to land in spam or be rejected.
About DKIM
DKIM keys live under a selector name your provider chooses. We check the common ones (Google, Microsoft, Resend, Fastmail, Zoho and more); if yours uses another name, check your provider's DKIM page.
Questions people ask
What is a DMARC policy of p=none?
It means receivers send you reports but don't act on failures. It's a safe start; move to quarantine or reject once the reports look clean.
Can a domain have two SPF records?
No. A domain should have exactly one SPF record; merge the services into a single record.
Does this check send any email?
No. It only reads public DNS records through Google Public DNS, from your browser.
