Step 5: Follow the Getting started card

Your inbox opens with a card called Welcome to Mailpitcher. It lists three steps and ticks them off as you go:

  1. Add a mailbox: connect your own mailbox, or a demo one to practise.
  2. Set it up: turn on two-step sign-in.
  3. New message: write your first email.

Step 6: Turn on two-step sign-in

Click Set it up on the card. Mailpitcher asks for this before you can send mail, run campaigns or connect a real mailbox. It takes about a minute. The full steps are in Two-step sign-in and trusted devices.

Step 7: Add a mailbox, or the demo mailbox

Click Add a mailbox on the card, or Add mailbox at the bottom of the sidebar.

  • To connect your own mailbox, follow the guide for your provider: Gmail, Outlook and Microsoft 365 or any other mailbox. This needs a paid plan.
  • No mailbox to hand? Click Add demo mailbox at the top of the window. It is a practice inbox with sample replies. Nothing you send from it leaves Mailpitcher, so you can try campaigns safely.
